A Simplified System for Strongholds Based on DMG and D&D Rules Cyclopedia

  1. Get a square grid notebook to use as your stronghold record and maps
  2. Once the appropriate class level has been reached, a character may create their stronghold.
    • The domain can be either given by a lord in exchange for an oath of fealty
    • A stronghold can be settled in raw wilderness
    • The brazen can try to build their stronghold in another’s domain
  3. Clear the Wilderness
    • Oath of Fealty

      • 20% chance of raid by neighboring forces during construction
